We are looking for a skilled and reliable Fuel Truck Driver to join our growing team. You’ll be responsible for the safe operation of a fuel truck with a capacity ranging from 13,000 to 34,000 GVW, ensuring fuel deliveries are completed with precision and care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate and maintain a heavy-duty fuel truck.
- Load and unload fuel at designated locations.
- Accurately log daily activities and fuel deliveries.
- Report any issues, incidents, or mechanical faults to dispatch promptly.
- Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the truck.
- Follow all safety guidelines and protocols, including Hazmat regulations.
Requirements:
- Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience, preferably with fuel delivery. Certification as a fuel delivery driver is an advantage.
- Familiarity with local routes is a plus (training will be provided if needed).
- A solid understanding of safety protocols and Hazmat procedures.
- Valid Class 3 license with air brake endorsement, a clean driving record (driver’s abstract required), and tanker/Hazmat endorsements.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail when measuring fuel deliveries.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team, depending on the assignment.
