Key Responsibilities

• Deliver holistic, patient-focused care, addressing both the physical and emotional needs of dialysis patients
• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and create tailored care plans

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of acute care experience; 1 year of recent hemodialysis experience required
• Nephrology certificate (or proof of enrollment) to be completed within 18 months of hire
• Familiarity with Nephrology Nursing Standards and guidelines from the Canadian Association of Nephrology Nurses and Technologists
• Active registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
• BCLS certification
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and decision-making skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
• Demonstrated leadership and teaching abilities
• Commitment to ongoing learning and professional development

Work Schedule

• Days and evenings, 8 and 12-hour shifts, including weekends and holidays
• Occasional travel between Osler sites may be required
